Titus is back from his trip to asia and found time to post this amazing calm down track for the upcomming weekend (yess,we know its Wednesday, but anyway). Ellen is dancing in a corn field and you can feel the last sunbeams for this summer. “Sun The Rain” is on her actual album “Dust“, the video is made (like all Bpitch Control Videos) by Pfadfinderei and also by Phil Schöll.
We call em the big boys - heard yesterday night on an electro partey. It’s quiet some years ago when Anthony Rother released “Popkiller”. Now in 2010 (28th of May) “Popkiller II” is out, hold in the same style as the forerunner. Rother is electro “Urgestein” from Frankfurt > (Cocoon Label Germany). Related to an interview on RA he is producing on big and heavy machines like:
RZ-10
Roland Alpha Juno 2 - synth used for basslines et al
Clavia Nord MicroModular - MIDI control keyboard
Laptop running Cubase 3.0.5 – his sequencer, he uses the old version because it’s reliable
Another MicroModular – a second sequencer
Yamaha Pro 01V – 24 channel mixing console
Drum controller
Access Virus – analog synth
Pioneer EFX-500 – the effects unit is also the final output
