Listening to Minilogues latest “Mr Mustafa Ep Vinyl”. So who is producing these tunes and could it be that we heard this guys from sweden some years ago? Yes, Sebastian Mullaert and Marcus Henriksson played under the name “Son Kite”, a psychedelic trance duo who have been always close to the minimal progressive side. (One of them was using a white electric violin on stage.)

Surprise! These two guys come up now with Minilogue and a creature movie called Animals (like their album in 2008). The interesting part is the visual aspect, if the convoluted music feels too experimental and strange, it becomes more intensive with the animation which work’s together with the music.

With “Animals The Movie”, Minilogue’s visual world comes fully into existence. The 80-minute-long DVD is created by Hinge Design from New Zeeland and a couple of other visuals artists.
