AutoKratz is in the house and we heard the shit live° some months later after a carcrash (a crazy old man hit my bike while i was on the way to dj Riot Paul) i found this track on a record at pauls place, horray! Autokratz is a duo from London with direct connection to french kitesun label. They sound a bit like Underworld, Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers mixed up but with a new strong output. Live they will blow you away. The video to “stay the same” is fun and well illustrated. Drop us a line if you know who is behind this masterpiece and watch it - again and again…

about the director: “Stay The Same” directed by a young & talented director : Laurie Thinot. The story is pretty simple. How, from an egg, we arrive to autoKratz ? A chicken that turns into a turkey, genetic cell evolution, a neat american family who eats David and Russell … are some answers, to that intersting question! kitesun
Laurie signed to Partizan at the end of the summer of 2008.
After attending high school in Paris, she took acting classes for three years. Then in 2001 she started a Plastic Art course at ENSAD, one of the city’s most prestigious art colleges, while spending her free time working on small graphic design projects including theatre posters and visual identities. She also spent time writing short stories and poems, and taking part in group design exhibitions in Paris and various training courses, expanding her knowledge of animation techniques by assisting friends on projects and gathering work experience.
She directed several animated films during her college years, graduating in 2006 with a film called X.pression.
Once graduated, she created the animated sequences for Edouard Salier’s music promo for Jehro, ‘I Want Love’. She then went on to direct her own music promo ‘La Terre Ferme,’ mixing animation techniques for the French rock band Luke in 2007.
Since signing to Partizan Laurie has completed her first music promo for the band Autokratz, working with animator Gustavo Almenara.
