H3 Huntemann T-Shirt

We created this limited edition T-Shirt, together with German based Dj & Producer Oliver Huntemann, for the actual H-3 Album. We wanted to try something new and bring design and music together, so we experimented with a minimal color version of the H-3 logo. We left the H-3 logo font untouched and added Stripes which inherits the millions of sounds in just three lines. The Number “3″ also points to the fact that this is the third album release from Oliver Huntemann.

Visualize Music Sewing Machine

Sewing Machine visual music

Imagine, you are at a party and the Dj is playing your tunes, a good mix, a perfect set, music you never want to forget, no problem! You can wear that music because this machine can stitch the full Dj-set visual on a t-shirt for you. So don’t wonder if you see a busy black sewing machine next to Dj turntables in your club in near future! Sounds Butter is an interactive Design group who came up with the idea to visualize sound with a sewing machine through the height of the stitches it creates. Before you clap your hands to order your super looper sound stitchi machine you have to be patient, because at this stage it is just a prototype.

The intention for this project was to make sound visible. As there is already a variety of ways in which sounds can be seen (equalizers, sub-titles, etc.), my aim was to produce a device where that representation of sound would be a physical one. I therefore used the sewing machine as the basis for the project as I feel it is synonymous with industry, and making physical products. Due to limitations in my computer programming skills this model of a stereo/sewing machine is a prototype of how I imagined the actual product would look.

Tron2 Movie Preview TR2M

Monday, July 28th, 2008

In the early 80’s TRON influenced a generation with special computer effects and an unique screen and animation design. “Tron was one of the first movies to make extensive use of any form of computer animation, and is celebrated as a milestone in the computer animation industry.” (wikipedia)

We did not understand everything but it was fascinating what a computer can do with your life. Now at ComicCon Tron2 was presented to the audience. The bad news… release date arround 2011. Watch TRON2 teaser on youtube - kick here

If the videolink is not working- jump to the search field on youtube and enter TRON or TR2M and maybe you will find it again in the youtube universe… (more…)
