Here some up to date news about the Dexflu contest running times:
After over one month of watching the new designlab update, and some feedback from you. We updated the contest running time for the MAIN Designlab and Dextronic lab up to 90days, so people can vote for a longer period of time and designers have the chance to get a bit more votes from the community. We think this makes more sense and much more fun because people should also have some designs to vote for in the contest when they come back here over a longer period of time. Anyway we want to print new designs soon, so we pick out designs also from the running 90 days if they are cool. the score itself stays the same and is calculated by an average score. Still only logged in users can vote, this reduces the votes but is a more qualitative feedback.

Check also our new Dextronic Electronic Music Lab!
try something new there, and get influenced by electronic music.

i dont think it's a good idea cuz it's a really long period of time. My designs and others might get lots with tons and tons of new ones and i dont think people take time to view them all.

we understand your point, but don't ya worry, we are not a major big platform so we do not have tons and tons of new submissions here. So on Dexflu your design will not get lost inside the submission ocean like on other platforms.

Also if time period is more open it has no effect on the listing from your design. If we get a way more submissions we will reduce the days to 60 days or less to find the right balance between submissions and days. Sense, people should have at least some designs to vote for on the first page and not only bored "voting for this design is over msgs".
